Hunter Jones from Benzie Central MI became the second four-time champion in Michigan Lower Peninsula history last weekend when he was his fourth consecutive Division 3 title in 14:46.5. The only runner in state history who has covered the state meet course faster is Dathan Ritzenhein. Jones is looking forward to this weekend's NXR Midwest regional as the first opportunity to advance to a naional championship race this fall. He placed second in last year's race.
